About The Position

At Lori’s Recharged, the Barista provides a welcoming place for joy and support by offering products and services that nurture, inspire, and comfort. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, engaging with guests, and preparing and serving beverages and food in the Recharged coffee shops. The Barista takes orders and payments, prepares a variety of hot and cold beverages and food items, maintains a clean and sanitary work area, follows food-handling and safety guidelines, maintains and restocks supplies, and collaborates with team members to support efficient operations. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement. This summary is not exhaustive and may be adjusted to meet operational needs in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail for accurate order taking and preparation.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by practicing GUEST standards: Greet, Understand, Educate, Suggest, and Thank.
Take guest orders and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and salads.
Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment, and utensils.
Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages.
Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
