About The Position
At NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Baristas provide friendly customer service and help create a welcoming environment for patients, families, and other customers. Under the direction of a supervisor or designated individual, the Barista produces and serves hot and cold foods, prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, maintains sanitation and cleanliness, stocks and organizes supplies, operates the cashier, and provides excellent customer service. The position is based at the NewYork-Presbyterian Columbia campus in Washington Heights, Upper Manhattan, and has rotating shifts that include weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two years of food service experience.

- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Starbucks experience.
