About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team at 27 Club Coffee Miami! In this role, you will welcome customers into the shop and prepare their coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks, food and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, customer service and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. This job is an hourly pay + tips.
Requirements
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Bus tables and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
