About The Position

The NoMo SoHo Hotel is seeking a knowledgeable, people-oriented Barista to join their F&B team. This café is located in the main guest lobby on the ground floor, adjacent to the restaurant. The café offers a variety of beverages including lattes, cappuccino, tea, soda, fresh cold-pressed juices, healthy shots, local craft beer, and wine. The hotel is known for its panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline, modern guest rooms, local art displays, and a unique dining and beverage experience.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months of experience serving food in a restaurant
Food Handler Certification
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
A positive attitude towards providing exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Taking and serving guest orders promptly and according to service standards set by the company.
Making coffee-related beverages and servicing grab & go items.
Answering guest questions about the selections.
Informing guests of food allergens in selections.
Operating the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
Performing side work duties.
