About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic baristas to join our team! This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting overall cafe operations. In addition to barista responsibilities, this position includes cashiering, food expediting, and dishwashing to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Previous experience in food service of coffee shop preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas and other beverages to company standards.
Maintain knowledge of menu items and make recommendations to customers.
Ensure consistency and quality in all drinks and food presentations.
Enforce all health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all shifts.
Restock coffee supplies, syrups, cups and other materials as needed.
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system, handle cash, credit and digital payments.
Provide prompt and friendly service while managing multiple orders.
Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently, involving management when needed.
Coordinate and organize food orders for timely service.
Ensure accuracy and presentation of all outgoing food items.
Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the food pickup area.
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following sanitation guidelines.
Keep dish area, kitchen, and service areas clean and organized.
Take out trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the cafe.
Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties.
