About The Position

A DineAmic barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverage products while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves operating coffee equipment, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring each guest has a positive experience. This is an hourly, tipped position.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a barista
  • Current SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare espresso-based drinks brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards (using a manual espresso machine)
  • Take customer orders accurately and make menu recommendations
  • Handle transactions using POS systems and process payments
  • Restock ingredients, cups, lids, condiments, and merchandise
  • Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service
  • Regularly clean equipment, counters, and work areas
  • Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked café
  • Additional duties as needed withing the scope of the role
