About The Position

Copper Horse Bistro is a fast-paced, grab-and-go coffee shop located on the main concourse just outside security at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. It serves as a high-energy hub for travelers, locals, and airport teams, focusing on great service and speed. The role involves crafting coffee and espresso drinks, creating welcoming experiences for guests, maintaining a clean workspace, and collaborating with teammates in a high-energy environment. Responsibilities include taking orders, operating equipment, processing transactions, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, following food safety guidelines, and restocking supplies.

Requirements

• A positive, reliable team player with a heart for hospitality
• Coffee or customer service experience preferred (but we’re happy to train the right person)
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and some holidays

Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality coffee and espresso drinks with care and consistency
• Create warm, welcoming moments for guests starting (or ending) their journey
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Work collaboratively with teammates in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Represent Copper Horse and SharBert with professionalism and pride
• Take drink orders and answer questions about the menu
• Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other equipment with precision and attention to detail
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and electronic transactions with integrity and accuracy
• Keep the coffee preparation area, equipment, and dining area clean, sanitized, and organized at all times
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff
• Monitor and restock supplies, such as coffee beans, syrups, cups, and lids, as needed
• Other duties as assigned
