About The Position

The Barista creates a warm, inviting experience for guests by preparing coffee drinks, handling food orders, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced setting that may include casino‑floor conditions such as noise and secondhand smoke. The Barista supports smooth daily operations by maintaining the workstation, answering phones, and ensuring guests enjoy a quick, comfortable, and safe visit.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card and gaming authority licensing.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and in environments with noise and secondhand smoke.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take coffee and food orders, and maintain positive service throughout their visit.
• Prepare coffee beverages and coordinate food orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform financial transactions and process guest payments.
• Keep menus, tools, and the workstation clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Answer the coffee bar telephone professionally and assist callers as needed.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment in compliance with food‑handling standards.
• Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe atmosphere.
