From freshly brewed coffee and grab-and-go favorites to those little moments that make a morning better, Cafe Dune is a place where hotel guests, beachgoers, and locals can settle in, recharge, and start their day with something worth savoring. As part of the Cafe Dune team, you will help bring that effortless coastal energy to every interaction. You will learn guests’ favorite orders, welcome familiar faces, serve up thoughtful bites and beverages, and create the kind of warm, genuine connections that turn a quick coffee stop into part of someone’s Dune House story. The Barista is responsible for honoring each and every customer by providing excellent customer service and a high-quality product. The Barista is a true professional that displays a positive attitude at all times to ensure the return of our customers who are the reason for our business.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to hear timers and coordinate with other baristas.
- Must be able to check food quality and read production charts/recipes.
- Ability to interact with guests in a positive, hospitable manner.
- Must be able to use the cash register/collect money with accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Develops enthusiastically satisfied customers all of the time.
- Provides quality beverages consistently for all customers
- Maintains Quality store operations
- Contributes to store profitability
- Takes responsibility to learn all aspects of the barista position
