About The Position
We are seeking energetic team players with a winning attitude that deliver exceptional customer service to all guests in a fun and busy college setting. Metz Culinary Management is growing, and we have openings for Rock Star Baristas that have a passion for making hand crafted hot and cold coffee & tea beverages.
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience required
- Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
- SERV Safe Certification
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time
- Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis
- Reading, writing, oral proficiency, and basic math skills
Responsibilities
- Preparing, stocking, and maintaining your station continuously throughout the day
- Greets guests determining their coffee interests and needs
- Educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions
- Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Use of cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processing
- Work as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departments
- Complete weekly inventory and order list
- Clean and maintain all equipment continuously
- Perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager
