Westfield Insurance is hiring a Part-Time Barista for our corporate dining facility! Enjoy the energy of a bustling coffee shop with the predictable hours and work-life balance of corporate dining. Metz Culinary Management is growing, and we have openings for Rock Star Baristas that have a passion for making hand crafted hot and cold coffee & tea beverages. We are seeking energetic team players with a winning attitude that deliver exceptional customer service to all guests in a fun and busy college setting.

Requirements

• Previous Barista experience required.
• Knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.
• SERV Safe Certification.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of time.
• Ability to carry 50lbs on a consistent basis.
• Reading, writing, oral proficiency, and basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

• Cross-train as a register cashier during peak lunch hours.
• Train new team members.
• Cross train in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Handcraft beverages in our We Proudly Serve Starbucks café.
• Provide friendly service and cross-train as a register cashier during peak lunch hours.
• Bring high energy and a smile to our vibrant workplace community.
• This position is responsible for preparing, stocking, and maintaining your station continuously throughout the day.
• Greets guests determining their coffee interests and needs.
• Educates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questions.
• Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food items.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Use of cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processing.
• Work as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departments.
• Complete weekly inventory and order list.
• Clean and maintain all equipment continuously.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by Operations Manager.
