About The Position

Faherty Brand wants you to join us at Sun & Waves, our all day kitchen and market in Spring Lake, NJ! We are seeking experienced Baristas to join our team. The individuals in this role will make our customers feel at home and will provide quality service and careful presentation. They will provide a warm welcome, make meaningful connections, and provide high quality beverages. They will offer the perfect complement to the Faherty shopping experience. Faherty Sun & Waves is located at 1310 Third avenue, Spring Lake, NJ. Must be Available to work: Morning or Nights & Weekends Hiring a Seasonal or Part Time with Barista Experience

Able to bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Deliver the perfect beverage that exceeds customer expectations with your ability to engage, build rapport, listen, and provide friendly, timely service.
Learn and understand brewing methods, beverage blends, and presentation techniques to ensure quality.
Create a welcoming environment to all customers by having a stocked bake case and neatly displayed merchandise.
Ensure a clean and tidy environment knowing that cleanliness encompasses all aspects of the customer experience.
Execute all operational standards correctly, in a timely manner and in accordance with the cafe standards, safety and health codes.
Protect company assets by adhering to all processes and working efficiently to control waste and shrink.
Maintain appearance and hygiene of workspace according to standards.
