Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for customer service
- Strong teamwork ability with a collaborative and supportive attitude
- Experience operating an espresso machine or demonstrated willingness to learn barista techniques
- Proficiency with cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and mobile ordering platforms
- Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Attention to detail in beverage preparation and presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling, including availability for shift work
- Commitment to maintaining a healthy, safe, and inclusive workplace environment
- Positive attitude, resilience, and enthusiasm for continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- Food handling knowledge or certification (preferred)
- Previous barista or food preparation experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and other coffee drinks with precision and consistency
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Operate the point-of-sale system and mobile ordering platforms with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station and café environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak and off-peak hours
- Handle cash and cashless transactions with confidence and integrity
- Participate in catering operations and special events as needed, expanding your experience and skill set
- Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety protocols and best practices
- Support inventory management and communicate product needs to management
