About The Position

The Barista creates a warm and welcoming space where customers can connect over coffee. In a fast-paced store environment, the role focuses on providing friendly, attentive service and preparing quality beverages and food that meet standard recipes or customers’ requested customizations. Baristas may perform a variety of tasks during each shift and are expected to follow store policies and standards.

Requirements

• No previous experience is required.
• Be available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
• Prepare beverages and food to standard recipes, including customer-requested changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredients.
• Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
