About The Position
We're looking for an energetic Barista with a genuine love of customer service. This dedicated professional prepares a variety of beverages for our guests, listening carefully to their needs, advising them on our best products and assisting them with their requests. This is a seasonal position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Good physical fitness: standing for several hours at a time, lift/carry loads of up to 50lb
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a similar position or in the hotel industry, an asset
- Knowledge of tea, coffee and table service, an asset
Responsibilities
- Know, describe, prepare and serve the items on our menu: hot and cold drinks, snacks, etc.
- Ensure that the work environment and the equipment are always clean, disinfected and well organized.
- Ensure that supplies are optimized and comply with health and safety requirements.
- Check the temperature of freezers, refrigerators and other machines to optimize their operation.
