About The Position

This is a part-time Barista position at Muckleshoot Casino Resort. The role involves providing excellent guest service, preparing food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to operational procedures.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
A minimum of six (6) months’ experience as a Counter/Barista is required.
Required to have and maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
Must be able to maintain Class 12 permit and /or Class 13 Permit required.

Nice To Haves

Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Exemplify Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s values and demonstrate excellent guest service and professionalism.
Practice, support, and promote the vision, mission, and values of the Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, promoting and recommending menu options.
Clean and maintain work areas and equipment.
Help guests select food and beverage items.
Operate an espresso bar machine and prepare beverages.
Prepare and serve ice cream orders.
Follow standards for display cases; maintain, clean, and restock as needed.
Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering food and beverage efficiently and friendly.
Follow cash handling and cash register procedures.
Reconcile daily financial transactions at the end of the shift.
Perform assigned daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
Inform management of guest requests, inventory shortages, replenishment needs, and food spoilage.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Provide excellent guest service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promote positive team member relations and report issues to appropriate personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
