About The Position
Culver Academies is a private boarding school seeking diverse talent to support its mission of educating students for leadership and responsible citizenship. Located on 1,800 acres on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, the school features a historic campus with Gothic architecture. The Barista position is part-time and will contribute to the school's environment by serving students.
Requirements
- Highly developed interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet people with ease.
- High School Diploma required.
- On the job training will be provided.
- Employees will be trained on the safe use of coffee machines, the procedures for grinding coffee, the preparation of coffee and specialty drinks and other aspects of the operation.
Responsibilities
- Make specialty hot and cold coffee drinks, such as espresso, cappuccino, mocha and café latte.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Follow specific recipes.
- Maintain a clean safe work environment.
- Operate the cash register.
- Assist with maintaining an ample supply inventory for conducting business.
