A Barista at Eataly creates and serves specialty hot and cold beverages according to Eataly’s recipes and guests’ special requests. This role requires knowledge of all coffee menu items, providing high-quality, fast-paced service, and the ability to work at multiple QSR counters performing various functions. The Barista is responsible for setting up stations, replenishing displays neatly while separating allergens, ensuring all items are dated and follow First in First Out (FIFO) standards, and weighing, grinding, or packing coffee beans for guests. They will operate the Point of Sales (POS) system, ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills, and clean and sanitize work areas in accordance with health agency standards. Baristas also work across all QSR counters serving pastry, gelato, pizza, and other Italian delicacies, maintaining a calm demeanor during periods of high volume, and performing other duties as required.
