About The Position

A Beverage Specialist at Eataly Flatiron is responsible for the receipt, storage, and organization of all beverage items for the Front of House (FOH) team. This role serves as a liaison between the Beverage team members and Front of House Management, reporting to the General Manager of Restaurants and Restaurant Assistant General Manager. The specialist ensures accurate inventory, manages deliveries, and assists with administrative duties related to beverage operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of kitchen experience
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

Responsibilities

Receives all beverage items, supplies and materials
Checks incoming merchandise against order sheets for accuracy in weight, quantity, order specifications
Receives beverage orders: unloads, organizes, and retrieves deliveries; records information; notates shortages and discrepancies; returns unsalable merchandise to suppliers
Maintains inventory and delivery records for FOH and related areas as prescribed by Beverage Manager
Assists Beverage manager with admin duties including placing orders as needed
Notes all discrepancies in the daily log immediately and informs Beverage Manager
Issues stored items to proper departmental personnel and keeps records of the release of those items
Assists in stocking or transporting items to the proper location within the store
Performs other duties as required or assigned
