About The Position

The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort is looking for its next Barista (Part-Time) to join their Food and Beverage team! As a Barista, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) months of customer service experience.
• A minimum of three (3) months of barista experience.
• A valid Food Safety Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification.
• The ability to adapt, stay organized, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Previous fine dining experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
• Craft quality beverages: Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.
• Master the menu: Learn the details of all menu items and specials so you can help guests and answer their questions with confidence
• Serve with efficiency and care: Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and complete orders promptly – attention to detail is key!
• Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
