About The Position
As a Starbucks Barista, you help create a warm and welcoming space where coffee can spark connection. You engage with customers, provide pleasant service, and create meaningful moments, whether through a warm smile or remembering a favorite order. The role is suited to someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in their work. Baristas prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customize orders to meet customer requests. They follow store operating policies and standards, including those for quality, cash handling, safety, and security, and may perform a variety of tasks during each shift. No previous experience is required; Starbucks offers developmental experiences and benefits to support partner growth.

Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Follow store operating policies and standards for quality beverages and food, cash handling, and store safety and security.
- Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customize them to customer specifications, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
- Perform a variety of different tasks within the store during each shift.
