About The Position

As a Starbucks barista, you’ll create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly crafted products. The role is based in an energetic store environment and involves preparing food and beverages, engaging with customers, and performing a variety of store tasks during each shift. Baristas must follow store operating policies and standards, maintain reliable attendance, and demonstrate integrity in a regulated business. The position requires obtaining a Non-Gaming License.

Requirements

Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
Neat and professional appearance.
Ability to learn quickly.
Knowledge of the retail environment.

Ability to stand for long periods and walk frequently.
Ability to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Follow store operating policies and standards, including those for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Engage with customers, understand their needs, and communicate clearly and pleasantly.
Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredients.
Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Demonstrate integrity and recognize the standards required in a regulated business.
Stand for long periods and walk frequently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with constant interaction with staff and the public.
Tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
Obtain a required Non-Gaming License.
