Starbucks Barista - Part Time
About The Position
This is a part-time Barista position at Starbucks. The role involves meeting store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and ensuring store safety and security. Baristas engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs through clear and pleasant communication. They are responsible for preparing food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including adapting to recipe changes. Baristas must be available to perform various tasks within the store during each shift.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Work requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to build relationships
- High school diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- Six months previous experience in related field preferred, but not required
- Prior money/cash handling experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
