Requirements
- Previous barista experience preferred, but not required—training will be provided.
- Passion for coffee and customer service with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays based on resort operations.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to Lava Love’s standards.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming experience.
- Operate coffee-making equipment, grinders, and espresso machines with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas.
- Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring food and beverage handling meets all sanitation guidelines.
- Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card payments.
- Promote and upsell Lava Love’s menu items, including seasonal beverages, pastries, and merchandise.
- Assist in training new team members and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Support resort-wide events and initiatives, providing coffee and beverage service as needed.
