About The Position

The Barista at Vernick Coffee Bar is part of the Food & Beverage team and creates exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality coffee beverages and providing warm, personalized service. The role involves crafting beverages to Four Seasons standards, maintaining a welcoming environment, and ensuring every guest interaction reflects genuine hospitality. Part-time opportunities are available, with availability required for mornings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso beverages, and other menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Provide friendly, engaging service while taking guest orders and answering questions about menu offerings.
• Share recommendations and knowledge of coffee, beverages, and specialty items.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
• Accurately process guest payments and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee bar environment.
• Support inventory management, including restocking supplies and assisting with product counts.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
