About The Position

As a Barista, you prepare quality beverages and other menu items and create a positive customer experience. You make coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and related products using established recipes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality and presentation. You greet customers, take orders, answer questions, and follow up on requests.

You help keep operations running smoothly by organizing and maintaining a clean, safe work area; restocking supplies; and keeping equipment and service areas ready for use. You collaborate with team members, particularly during busy periods, and adapt to changing service demands. The role involves standing for extended periods, moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, and working in varying temperature environments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Provide friendly, timely, and helpful customer service and respond to customer questions and requests.
• Follow recipes and procedures accurately and maintain attention to detail.
• Organize and prioritize tasks, manage multiple orders, and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Be familiar with safe food and beverage handling, sanitation practices, and safety guidelines.
• Work independently and collaboratively with others.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing service demands.
• Safely operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment according to established guidelines.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature environments.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
