About The Position

Starbucks baristas create a warm and welcoming space where coffee can spark connection and each customer interaction can brighten someone’s day. The role is suited to someone who enjoys engaging with people, takes pride in their work, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. No previous experience is required. Baristas prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customize them to customer requests, deliver pleasant customer service, and perform a variety of store tasks during each shift.

Requirements

Available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Ability to learn quickly.
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Provide quality beverages and food products in accordance with store policies and standards.
Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or ingredient substitutions.
Handle cash and follow store safety and security standards.
Perform a variety of different tasks within the store during each shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
