About The Position

The Barista prepares quality coffee beverages, cappuccinos, tea, and smoothies consistently for corporate dining customers. The role also involves organizing and stocking supplies and maintaining the coffee bar and its equipment. Duties may include ordering and inventory management for the station. The Barista provides exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner while following supervisor instructions and applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations. Brock & Company is a family-owned contract food management provider serving corporations and private and independent schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality coffee beverages, cappuccinos, tea, and smoothies consistently for customers.
• Maintain appropriate supplies of coffees, syrups, teas, fruits, vegetables, juices, yogurts, and condiments used to make beverages.
• Keep the coffee bar clean and safe in accordance with supervisor instructions and applicable health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
• Clean and maintain station equipment on a scheduled basis, including the coffee maker, espresso/cappuccino machine, juicer, spoons, spatulas, and brushes.
• Organize and stock supplies and maintain the coffee bar and equipment.
• Potentially handle ordering and inventory management for the station.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
