About The Position

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Barista Supervisor for Blue Collar Coffee Company. This role is part-time and involves overseeing and coordinating the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation. The supervisor will assist in developing training programs, placing weekly orders, and participating in interviewing and hiring. The company culture emphasizes pushing boundaries and valuing hard work, creating destinations rather than just stops.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of front-of-house operations and/or assistant management experience.
  • Knowledge of service and food and beverage.
  • Excellent basic math skills.
  • Ability to operate a POS system.
  • Food Manager Certification (MANDATORY REQUIREMENT).
  • U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, payroll, inventory, and other managerial duties.
  • Oversee weekly ordering and communicate product alterations or substitutions.
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are understood.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of training programs and policies/procedures.
  • Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure all food and products are consistently served according to Geronimo Hospitality standards.
  • Achieve restaurant objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
  • Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules.
  • Schedule labor according to business activity, ensuring all positions are staffed and labor cost objectives are met.
  • Comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations pertaining to health, safety, and labor requirements.
