About The Position

Joe Coffee is seeking curious and committed baristas in training (BITs) who are interested in learning about specialty coffee. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn about coffee and aspire to become a 'certified' barista for Joe, while also demonstrating a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. Joe Coffee Company, founded in 2003, started as a single specialty coffee house in Manhattan's West Village with a vision to brew high-quality, unique coffees and create a welcoming community space. It has since grown to 23 cafes in New York and operates its own Roastery in Long Island City. The company's mission remains to serve excellent coffee with warm hospitality. Joe Coffee emphasizes the importance of the barista in the coffee experience and supports their education and success through industry-leading professional training, continuing to innovate and lead in the specialty coffee movement.
