Requirements

  • Must have previously been in the H2B program.
  • Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain professional and positive in all situations
  • Ability to listen, understand, and respond effectively to guest and team member concerns
  • Understanding of proper uniform and grooming standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous barista, café, or food & beverage experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all guests
  • Prepare and serve coffee beverages and food items according to established standards
  • Accurately process guest transactions including cash, credit cards, and room charges
  • Maintain a cash bank and follow proper cash handling procedures
  • Verify guest room numbers when processing room charges
  • Communicate effectively with guests and associates to ensure guest needs are met
  • Address guest questions or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, service areas, and equipment
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure lobby and public areas remain clean and presentable
  • Follow all food safety and proper food handling procedures
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly
  • Assist with monthly inventory and stock control
  • Adhere to company policies regarding employee purchases and transactions
  • Interact with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
