Bariatric Surgery - Advanced Practice Provider
About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Bariatric Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. This role involves joining a growing Bariatric Surgery team with a BC Bariatric/General Surgeon and dedicated support staff. The position offers a blend of clinic and hospital responsibilities with no call or weekend duties. The schedule is Monday – Friday from 8 AM – 4:30 PM. The Bariatric Surgery APP will be responsible for the delivery of care to bariatric candidates and patients, including pre/post-operative assessment and responsibilities. This includes patient treatment planning, counseling, and monthly office visits to review progress. In-office procedures include wound assessment and lap band fills.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
- At least 1 year of APP experience required
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure /physician assistant licensure
