Requirements

Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to manage and prioritize time.
Proficient with Excel and pivot tables required, along with strong skills and proficiency in other Microsoft programs.
Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Nice To Haves

Experience/knowledge of marine industry preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update key databases (customers, fleets, barges, vessels, etc.)
Track and document charter vessel status, including on/off charter and downtime.
Update costs in operating system as needed for fleets, wash docks, and towing.
Ensure accuracy of data entered into Open Top Hopper systems.
Learn various river segments and geographical knowledge of marine areas serviced and related towing requirements.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of covered and open hopper freight values and pricing impact.
Communicate with Logistics Managers/Dispatchers about fleets and vessels.
Communicate and coordinate with marine service vendors.
Conduct data research to support Leadership and Logistics teams.
