As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will define and develop embedded software in accordance with software design and test requirement specifications and conduct verification testing during development. You will play a key role in developing innovative, market-leading electro-mechanical products as part of a cross-functional project team. You will optimize firmware performance, memory utilization, and computational efficiency within resource-constrained embedded systems. You will also be involved in code development for configuring/interfacing with real time clocks, Ethernet PHY chips, external memory, and specialty sensors. Additionally, you will implement security and password access routines and Ethernet communication protocols. You will leverage AI-enabled engineering tools and technologies to enhance hardware design, firmware development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and data analysis activities; evaluate emerging AI capabilities and implement best practices to improve engineering efficiency, product quality, and innovation while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with teams to resolve issues and enhance manufacturing performance, apply Lean principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance in all processes.
