About The Position

Under general supervision, this position will provide instruction to students in Barbering courses on the Ben Hill-Irwin Campus. The instructor will demonstrate the use of appropriate teaching techniques, order products, and maintain appropriate inventory. They will also demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, knowledge of current safety/sanitation procedures, and appropriate testing and grading procedures, including proper maintenance of grade books and other required recordkeeping. The instructor will follow approved course syllabi and complete all reports, records, and invoices in a timely manner, maintaining an accurate inventory of all assigned properties. Course availability varies semester to semester. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, are essential. Requirements

• Current Master Barber License in the State of Georgia
• At least three (3) years experience in-field

• Three (3) years experience in the field in the last seven (7) years.
