About The Position
The Oregon Veterans Home in The Dalles is looking for an upbeat, friendly, and team-oriented Barber/Beautician to join their team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference by enhancing the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the veterans served. The position is available for both full-time and part-time availability, with full-time hours being Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Part-time hours can be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Current Oregon barbering or cosmetology license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Willingness to work with and serve the senior veteran population
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, compassionate approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
