About The Position

The Dalles Oregon Veterans Home is seeking a bright, energetic Activities Aide to join our Recreation team and help enhance the daily lives of our residents through engaging recreational activities. This part-time position focuses on engaging residents through recreational activities both inside and outside of the facility, helping foster connection, laughter, and quality of life for those we serve. CPR & Dementia training will be provided as part of the onboarding process. The position requires a positive, lively, and dynamic approach to seniors.

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly, and energetic personality
• Enjoys working 1:1 with senior population & their loved ones
• Passion for creating joyful, meaningful experiences
• Comfortable facilitating games, group activities, and recreational outings
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
