About The Position

Join the Neuro Diagnostic Institute as a dedicated Barber/Beautician, providing quality grooming services to patients in a professional healthcare environment. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for those passionate about making a difference in patient well-being while maintaining work-life balance. You will use your expertise to enhance patient confidence and comfort, working closely with the Rehabilitation Therapy Department.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana barber or beautician license
• Must supply personal tools and preferred products
• Ability to complete a 3-day orientation (includes CPR training, bridge building, and general orientation)
• Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Current CPR certification (will be provided during orientation if needed)
• Previous experience in healthcare or rehabilitation settings

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional barbering and/or beautician services to hospital patients one day per week, 3-6 hours per shift
• Utilize your own tools and products to provide haircuts and grooming services, ensuring hygiene and safety standards
• Attend a comprehensive, paid hospital orientation, including CPR certification (if not already certified)
• Maintain accurate records of services provided
• Communicate effectively with hospital staff and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
• Ensure timely attendance and provide advance notice for absences as required
