Legacy Living Defiance is seeking a Beautician to deliver salon services for residents in a senior living setting. This role supports residents’ comfort, confidence, and personal style through consistent, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Current Managing Cosmetologist license (active and in good standing)
- Maintain professional license renewals
- Maintain liability insurance
- Strong communication, patience, and service mindset with a senior population
Responsibilities
- Providing beauty services such as hair styling/barbering, nail services, esthetics, makeup, and lashes
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace
- Ensuring excellent client satisfaction and professional conduct
- Supplying personal tools, kits, and products as needed
- Consulting with residents about desired looks
- Adapting techniques for comfort and mobility needs
- Helping clients feel at ease during services
- Coordinating timing and flow with front desk support
- Participating in occasional marketing or promotions at the salon’s discretion
- Resetting the area for the next service and ensuring everything is orderly for the community
