The Barback position involves directly assisting bartenders and guests with beverage and food service. Key responsibilities include clearing and cleaning tables and bar areas, restocking supplies, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various service locations such as the Service Bar, Carriage Lounge, Spirits on the Sunset, and Banquets. This role requires setting up and arranging bar equipment, delivering and replenishing beverages and glassware, preparing garnishes, and ensuring the proper operation of draft beers. Additionally, the Barback will provide food service to customers in specific lounges, stay informed on menu offerings, and adhere strictly to New York State Alcohol Beverage Control Laws and company policy. The role demands efficient, attentive, and professional service, cooperation with beverage personnel, and the ability to perform opening and closing duties. It also requires maintaining a flexible work schedule, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and upholding company dress and grooming standards.
