About The Position
The Barback is responsible for the clearing and setting of bar and tables as well as providing assistance to the bartender and service team in a timely manner. This is a part-time position with availability needed for the 2nd shift and weekend availability preferred. The pay rate is $18 per hour flat rate, with no tips. The role is located at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center.
Requirements
- Friendly and outgoing personality. Likes to talk to people.
- No experience required – we will train!
Responsibilities
- Assist bartender with restocking glassware, ice and beverage items as needed in a timely manner.
- Assist server as needed to include restocking, cleaning, setting tables and running food.
- Heavy lifting will be required on a continuous basis.
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
