About The Position

Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of beverage stations and equipment in accordance with Company standards. Perform all duties in accordance with Valley View Casino & Hotel’s policies and within the realm of Valley View Casino & Hotel's Mission Statement. Promotes outstanding guest service on a continual basis. Participates as a team member with bartenders, servers, supervisors and all other pertinent Company Team Members in ensuring an efficient operation. Responsible for protecting Valley View Casino & Hotel by adhering to company wide alcohol beverage control policies by providing responsible alcohol service and monitoring guests alcohol consumption. Responsible for informing the Food and Beverage Managers when a guest demonstrates signs of intoxication. Adheres to performance standards, company policies, as they relate to the department. Other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Managers, Director and/or Vice President. Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record. Responsible for conducting all responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Must possess and demonstrate a willingness to learn and have the ability to follow instructions and direction.
• Ability to work within a team-centered work environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Team Members of organization.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
• Must successfully pass a drug screening test.
• Must be able to successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive guest relations at all times, resolving guest complaints and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Greet guests in a courteous and caring manner using personalized service.
• Cleaning of beverage areas in restaurant bar stations.
• Provides and replenishes beverage stock and supplies.
• Stocking received supplies, retrieving and delivering liquor, wine and beer to various storage facilities, bars, restaurants and soda room in an efficient and timely manner.
• Informing the Food and Beverage Managers when a guest demonstrates signs of intoxication.
