About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a part-time Barback for the Virginia Guesthouse, a 214-room hotel with conference and event space on the University of Virginia Grounds, scheduled to open in April 2026. The Barback supports bartenders and servers in providing memorable hospitality, keeps the bar stocked and organized, fills requisitions, and maintains a clean bar area. This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow toward a bartending career at a world-class property.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain the proper and adequate daily setup of the bar.
• Assist bartenders in securing requisitioned liquor, beer, and wine.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, including keeping clean glasses stocked.
• Understand the details of bar operations.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Maintain stock and cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
