Rickhouse – Barback (Wed-Fri)
Located in the heart of the Financial District of San Francisco, Rickhouse is inspired and built from old whiskey barrels, staves, and original charred brick from pre-1906 earthquake. If you like being part of a small team, are detail-oriented, and are interested in whisky, the Barback position at Rickhouse may be right for you.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Able to follow directions
• Basic math skills or an ability to use a calculator and understand proportions
• Good interpersonal skills
• Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler’s Certification and RBS training required
• 21+ years of age or older
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a barback or barista is preffered

Responsibilities

• Assist bartenders with daily service
• Maintain overall bar cleanliness
• Prepare batches and other cocktail ingredients
• Wash and organize glassware
• Retrieve and keep adequate levels of bar stock
• Clean as part of opening and closing duties
• Opening and closing tabs
• Preparing ice and garnishes
• Receiving liquor and putting away.
• Organizing the liquor room, dry storage and hallway.
• Preparing cocktail batches.
• Breaking down cardboard and disposing of it.
