About The Position

Parks Hospitality Group is seeking a part-time Barback for The Montford Rooftop Bar in downtown Asheville. The Barback supports bar operations by keeping stations stocked, clean, and organized so bartenders can provide excellent guest service. This role works in a fast-paced environment and may also assist with dishwashing or kitchen operations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock the bar with beer, wine, spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware and work surfaces.
• Assist bartenders during busy periods by replenishing supplies, fetching bottles, and pouring drinks.
• Collect empty glasses and bottles and restock as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert management to supply needs.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
• Assist with dishwashing or kitchen operations as needed.
