About The Position

The Dome is seeking hardworking and reliable Barbacks to support our bartending team and ensure seamless bar operations. This behind-the-scenes role is critical in maintaining efficiency, keeping the bar stocked, and delivering an exceptional guest experience at our high-energy venue. This role will pay an hourly wage of $8.00 and is tip eligible.

Requirements

Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and a sense of urgency to keep up with high-demand events.
Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to lift heavy items (e.g., kegs, cases of liquor).
Must meet any state or local alcohol service requirements, if applicable.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in alignment with The Dome’s event schedule.

Nice To Haves

Prior barback or restaurant experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Keep the bar fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout each event.
Assist with preparing the bar before service, replenishing supplies, and cleaning the bar area at the end of shifts.
Quickly respond to bartender requests, such as fetching ingredients, replacing kegs, and disposing of empty bottles.
Collect and wash glassware, clear empty cups from the bar area, and remove trash and recycling as needed.
Safely change beer kegs and maintain draft line cleanliness to ensure high-quality beverage service.
Occasionally assist guests with basic requests, such as retrieving napkins or directing them to bartenders for service.
Follow all venue policies, health codes, and responsible alcohol service guidelines to maintain a clean and safe bar environment.
