About The Position

The Roosevelt Room in Dublin is now hiring Barbacks. This role involves working in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment. The Roosevelt Room offers a dramatically stylized interior with subtle tributes to Theodore Roosevelt, featuring a craft cocktail menu that reinforces the bar's theme. The establishment serves themed cocktails, wine (draft and bottle), and a robust beer list. The company is looking for individuals who are strong communicators, possess a hospitality mindset, consistently perform at a high level, thrive in teamwork, and spread positivity. The role requires embracing and contributing to the company's passion for enhancing neighborhoods by creating enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Great communication skills
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• High-volume barback experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the bar is prepared and set up for success
• Keep constant awareness of the bar’s needs
• Change blown kegs
• Keep the bar clean, including all workspaces and glassware
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, etc.
• Bus tables throughout shift
