About The Position

This position involves completing opening and closing duties, which include setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and ensuring security by locking doors. The role requires stocking and maintaining work areas with items such as ice, glassware, and paper supplies, as well as removing soiled wares from the bar and tables. Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of work areas, the bar, bar unit, and tables according to set-up guidelines is essential. The job also requires adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions, and completing safety training. A professional appearance and demeanor are expected, along with maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets. The role involves welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards, anticipating their needs, and providing service with genuine appreciation. Clear and professional communication with others, developing positive working relationships, and supporting team goals are also key aspects. The position requires reading and visually verifying information, standing or walking for extended periods, and performing physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 50 pounds without assistance. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating objects. The role may involve navigating uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps, as well as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by supervisors.

Responsibilities

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Check with captain or supervisor before leaving at end of shift.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools, following all set-up guidelines.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Assist individuals with disabilities.
