About The Position
Flyspace Productions is hiring energetic, customer-focused Bar Servers to support beverage operations during PicklesBurgh 2026, one of Pittsburgh's largest and most popular summer festivals. This is a temporary, event-based position running July 16–19, 2026, ideal for hospitality professionals, bartenders, servers, students, or anyone looking to earn extra income while working in a fun, fast-paced festival environment. As a Bar Server, you'll help create an exceptional guest experience by serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and supporting mobile bar operations throughout the festival.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous bartending, beverage service, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable handling credit card transactions accurately and responsibly
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy festival environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Closed-toe shoes are required at all times
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice To Haves
- RAMP Certification preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Serving beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Pouring draft beverages and preparing simple mixed drinks
- Processing credit card transactions accurately
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional bar area
- Restocking beverages and supplies throughout shifts
- Assisting with event setup, breakdown, and daily maintenance
- Following all responsible alcohol service and safety procedures
