About The Position

Located on the Mississippi River, on the site of the former Learned’s Mill that operated from 1828 until 1962, Magnolia Bluffs Casino now calls this historic land home. The casino originally opened in 2012 and is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. With numerous slot machines and ample table games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps as well as delicious dining options, we offer a guest experience unparalleled to others. In addition to our boasting casino, we operate a beautiful hotel with the areas only saltwater pool! We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Natchez with the best customer service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a Bar Porter. This position will report directly to the F&B Manager, and will be responsible for:

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 6-8 hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

• TIPS certification preferred.
• One (1) year of bar porter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly and efficient service to every guest, every time while cleaning and restocking bars.
• Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times, including but not limited to guest service, sanitation and organization.
• Communicate with and promote positive team member and guest interactions and maintain professionalism at all times while working with other team departments and guests in accordance to Signature Service guidelines.
• Maintain strictly, the established company uniform, well-groomed, appearance and hygiene standards at all times.
• Supplies the bar with clean glassware and bar and bottle service ware; placing them in the dishwasher to be cleaned and sanitized.
• Returns all cleaned and sanitized glassware and bar and bottle service ware to properly assigned areas at the bar and cocktail service station.
• Maintains fully stocked back bar coolers with beer, open wines for glass service and bottled water and mixes for bottle service.
• Maintains fully stocked ice bins.
• Remove all trash and mop at end of shift.
